    Uhm, an update :)

Had my first blade replacement last weekend. I do get cuts and a bit sore, trying to find a better way to have a smooth shaving experience. It's exciting none the less :)

Did try a, for me, new way to iron clothes with a steam generator iron. Holy cow, didn't realise that it could be so much easier to iron a shirt with a proper tool for the project. Now I'm looking into buying myself a new iron. It will probably be one of those fance ones from Philips. Love the idea of 1.4 litre water tank for steam generation.

I'm looking into buy a crock pot or something similar to that. Want new ways of cooking food, good and tasty food :)
And a new rice cooker is needed too. The current one has almost no teflon left... I guess teflon is healty, right?!

    Anyways, off to study. Bye!

    My first 'real' shaving experience.

I have been googling shaving a few times and tried to gather information about how to actually do a proper shave.

I did find a swedish page that sells all kinds of merchandise for gentlemens and stumbled upon a safety razor called Merkur, or more specifically 'Merkur Vision 2000'. It has a hefty pricetag and a sturdy design. After I did some more googling I found a nice gentlemans guide to achive a good shave. He has a Shaving Journal at blogger and he has a cool shaving tutorial at Youtube. After the inspiring videos I decided to buy:

    • a Merkur Vision 2000
    • The Art of Shaving sampler kit - unscented (Badger brush included in the set!)
    • A styptic pen, in case I make a goof and cut or nick myself

All this fancy stuff arrive in the mail today and I did take the Merkur out for a spin and wow, it was really a completely different experience. I will ofcourse invest more time and effort in to this, for me, new way of shaving. I think I'm going to like it.

Anyhow, now it's time for Digg Reel and then I'm off to bed.

    Take care!

    TweetDeck

Installed and trying out TweetDeck in Adobe AIR on Linux. It works really great and I think the developer/designer is right on the money. The app is so easy to use and you get a really good overview of all your content. One can also add searches and groups.

This saturday was one of the laziest in a long time. Watched a few shows from Revision 3, and I did also get to buy lots of groceries, which is good. Since there's a minor blizzard comming right up here on the west coast of Sweden.

Tomorrow is going to be a day of joy and celebrations. Will be celebrating my uncle and my cousins birthday.

    Take care!

    Sunday :)

Started off this weekend really great.
Friday was spent at the office, crunching numbers and info and what not. Friday evening, my head felt all mushy so I decided to swim like crazy and I got so exhausted. It was a lovely feeling! Got home, made some food and relaxed with a beer and Diggnation.

Saturday was dedicated to follow up on CSI (Las Vegas) and Tekzilla. I did also have a hot bath, which felt so good. I did also have a bunch of really great espresso shots and finished off the evening with a glass of Lagavulin - Distillers edition.

Sunday morning started off with listening to all the noise my neighbours did when they were having an 'after party' party at 7am. Decided to get up and watch movies - Bolt, which was a really good movie and Madagascar, Escape 2 Africa which wasn't as good as the first movie. But that is almost always the case with sequels, so no real surprise there. Did also watch Code name: The Cleaner. A bit weird movie and somewhat entertaining, but not really a home run.

So, tomorrow is Monday. A new week with new possibilities, yay!
    Have a great Sunday, bye!

    9:19PM

The weekend has come to an end.

It's 9:20pm and the weekend has almost come to an end.

Saturday was spent doing laundery and then shopping. Bought myself descaler for my dear Silvia and a fresh bag of Espresso beans from a micro roastery in south of sweden called Koppi. I have managed to get one really nice shot which were all chocolaty and a hint of orange. Lovely!

Sunday was spent doing absolutely nothing. I finished up my laundery, watched two movies 'Pride and Glory' and 'Zack and Miri Make a Porno'. First one was a good movie, the second one must be a teen movie... It wasn't really my "cup of tea".

Next stop, shower and moving stuff from the washer to the drier. How exiting :-)

    Take care!
